Update - this post refers to the old website so the image cycler it refers to no longer exists. BUT, I used the same cycle code as the basis for the welcome to the world animation that I wrote when Abigail was born.

I've had a really productive day (well, as far as the website goes!) I wrote myself a nice little flash movie that cycles through a selection of images. I've put it on the front page. The really neat bit is that it is using images that already exist in our photo albums. The swf file is only a couple of K in size and all the fading is done with AS. The script started from a simple slideshow viewer from a guy on the discussion board called necromanthus but I added the automatic cycle and image referencing myself.
Updated! I made it even better! The image cycle is now read in from a file so I can add and remove pictures from the sequence without having to edit the original Flash file!
